7227 forum posts 21 photos | PURELY a guess, but B S Brass would be my choice. Can you cut pieces of bar with each of the threads to use as a gauge? 1/4 BSF is 26 tpi, is Whit thread form same as B S B, if that is any help. Howard |

1050 forum posts 56 photos | After many years of reading ME through the heyday of designs by Martin Evans, Don Young etc, I have never seen a BSC thread specified for a steam application. Always Brass. |
