Hi all,
I want to buy replacement spindle bearings for Emco Compact 5, I found 2 kinds: SKF NORMAL CN and C3.
I would like an opinion, which I should buy?
Best regards!
Robert

I used the std bearings in my Emco, didn't want the extra clearance of the C3, use the ZZ not the RS, the latter will cause friction on the spindle and heat the bearing, ZZ is sufficient to keep out any swarf that may find it's way into that area.

Hi Emgee

Thanks for the reply

"I used the std bearings in my Emco"

Standard bearings are- BEARING CLEARANCE -
NORMAL CN?

I'm not good at technical data bearings, so I asked which ones are better

In the site where I want to buy, there are 2 options:

6006-2Z SKF

BEARING CLEARANCE:
1. NORMAL CN

2. C3

So, I choose the option 6006-2Z SKF - NORMAL CN ?

Best regards!
Robert

Yes Robert,

The SKF 6006-2Z will be fine.
Check the assembly order in the manual to make sure you get the wavy washer in the correct location.
