Has anyone advice on replacing the battery in a Gemini 7208-7218 Alarm key fob, there appears to be a central joint around the perimeter but no access point, perhaps there is a screw under the soft rubber operators ?

Didn't take too long to find this, which seems to have the same remote. Not very explicit on how to separate, so I'd guess at just prising them apart, there's quite often a bit of a gap where the keyring part goes.

Edit - highly unlikely there is a screw under the button rubbers

The Instructions give the impression it slides apart - Arrows!

I thought that at first, but I think it's supposed to indicate separation rather than direction. But Emgee could try it and report back. I'm still 80/20 in favour of it simply clipping together.

I had downloaded the instruction sheet but no method is stated on how to access the battery, I am sure it doesn't slide apart so will get a Stanley blade and see if can be sprung open as suggested on another forum.
Will report back when opened or destroyed.
