Quite small, and very strange: **LINK**

Unusual piece. 17.5mm diameter pulley with center hole filled with a coated negative achromat lens 8mm clear diameter on one side and 4.8mm clear diameter on the other side. Not a clue what these were made for but here's your opportunity to get creative. We have a good supply of them.

I just love Fred’s honesty yes

... but my ‘creativity’ is a bit low today.

Any ideas ?

P.S. __ my best guess is that it’s not really a pulley, but a flanged ring that allows the lens to be mounted in a self-centering clamp, like this: **LINK**
