Markie Showmans Engine Model

Does anyone know where to locate the serial number on a Markie Showmans Engine Boiler? Also does anyone have an instruction sheet that speaks to operating and maintenance?

Hi Bill,

I'm not familiar witha Markie but it looks like a nice model . If you are unsure about operating a boiler you should join a model club and seek advice. Incorrect operation could damage the boiler and is dangerous.

There are some good videos on Youtube by Keith Appleton about maintaining and repairing a Markie Showmans engine. **LINK**

hi william , i have a markie 1\10th scale and currectly rebuilding it etc , i have done months of research and now i do spoke to maker of these engines mr tony pearce, i'll be happy to help with yours if needed

The serial number is on the boiler under the cladding and difficult to see without removing the cladding

The instructions are available from markie who are stilli in business.

I have spoken to Tony about the boiler number being on the engine and he has confirm that it is not stamp anywhere on boiler

All he has to do is to contact Tony direct who will help him.
