102 forum posts | Hi Im thinking of building a 1:72 Boeing 747SP cutaway model. The problem is that’s 185 seats. Is there an easy way to make so many seats? |

If I was building that I would make patterns of the various seat styles and setups, mould them in silicone and then cast in resin. You'll find all you need from Terranti's, supplier of the materials required.

85 forum posts 72 photos | Hi It depends on how deep your pockets are and how open you are to new technologies ! My suggestion would be to use 3D SLA printing With SLA printing it takes the same time to print a plate of lots of items as a single item. I have had some good results using an Anycubic Photon , not as expensive as some models to buy [£100's rather than £1000's] Steve Edited By The Novice Engineer on 13/01/2021 22:52:25 Edited By The Novice Engineer on 13/01/2021 22:59:12 |

The animals in "Noah's Arks" were made in a similar way, the blank sometimes being turned to section in the lathe. |
