The drain and fill/level plugs are readily visible on mine: drain is brass hexhead underneath and the fill is the slot-head on the RH side. The plug on the left front is for installation and should not need to be disturbed.

Rob Yes, this irritation also has the effect on other sites of logging you out when you have just logged in so I suppose is not to be laid at the door of MTM.
