Whilst down a ‘Rabbit Hole’ yesterday, I found this: **LINK**

Fellow seekers-of-knowledge are invited to explore

I suggest first downloading the two [not quite complete] volumes of Plates, and skimming through these to find something which intrigues you ... Then find the relevant text volume.

I didn't drink anything before going down the rabbit hole and couldn't see the Plates vols; the text vols were intriguing indeed.

Plates linked bottom right of the Philadelphia Edition.

Obvious next project: 'The Bramah Banknote Press'. I shall soon be rich...

The plates are magnificent.

Curiosity aroused ... Borda used a pendulum bob made of Platina

Can anyone please suggest why ?

... It’s not an alloy I have heard-of before of which I have previously heard. angel
