I would be obliged if this attached object could be identified. cf photos in my album.

I have had this metal object in my possession for years and only just rediscovered it in the bottom of an old press. its identity still remains a mlystery - au secour!

If you mean the ting in the last 3 photos, it looks like a spike for an agricultural harrow, though I have no specific knowledge of these.

There's a sticky I think saying how to insert photos from your album into a post.

Could be a form of gate/door latch, designed to fit between the arms of a spring clip.
