Hi All i am looking for the next project a Traction engine max length 24" and casting availability looked at the Minnie & the Allchin any more to look at advice please

I think that is about it as far as reliable supply of castings go, next up would be the 2" Gold Medal Burrell Tractor at 28" long. The Ruston Proctor SD Light comes out about 24" but supply may be problematic.

I have a friend building one of the M J engineering designs, the 2" scale fowler A7, and the quality of the castings is really good, makes me quite envious. The Fowler may be a bit big, but the Gold Medal Burrel is a lovely design, and I'm sure the castings would be of the same quality, definitely a factor to be taken into consideration.

I did not have any quality problems with the castings for my Fowler from MJ but it is quite a bit bigger. This is mine with the showman's version of the GMT behind

At 34" the simplicity may be a bit larger than you were looking for.
