![]() 203 forum posts | I have an Amolco free standing mill and am looking to fit a 2 axis DRO. Has anyone done this ? There's not a lot of space to play with and travel is already quite limited. Also do I go for glass or magnetic scales?

I used M-DRO magnetic scales for the install on my Dore Westbury mill, and they fitted in quite nicely after I designed my own mounting brackets. There are some photos in my album. Mike |

![]() 203 forum posts | Thanks Mike , no problem with the album pics and they confirm my thoughts on the problem. I am going to lose a little travel but I think the benefits outweigh the loss. I'm 10 minutes drive from Chronos but of course I can't go there for a looksee and measure up, very frustrating.
