1817 forum posts 2 photos | My Delapena honing machine has been refurbished and the associated tinware has been repainted. My wife took some photos of the old style Delapena logos that were on the tinware. I had thought that my computer literate whizz kid children would have been able to photoshop the images and "repair" the damaged areas. Despite lots of promises, nothing has materialised! I would rather like to adorn the hone with new transfers, so I thought there may be some on the internet. A search revealed only the new company logo and not the rather elegant old style one. I may have been looking under the wrong search terms. Does anyone know of a decent Delapena logo on the net that I could use to make transfers? I know it isn't very important, but I would like the kit to look "as new" for once, before I cover it with honing fluid! Andrew.

1817 forum posts 2 photos | Hello DC31k, Thanks for that reference. It seems to contain various pages of advertising for Delapena. The logos at the head of the pages is simple red lettering on a black background. The transfers on the kit are far more ornate including some gold shading. Thanks for your efforts, the site itself is well worth bookmarking, so thanks again. Andrew. |
