60 forum posts | Hi Lee I presume you're referring to the headstock oil. If your Boxford is the same as my 330 (X10 series), then you shouldn't need to remove the top cover. There is a filler plug in the side of the headstock immediately above the level window. Hope this helps! David |

119 forum posts 1 photos | It is the same as the 330. Plug is on the RHS of the headstock above the fill level indicator. To open the top cover, which will only give access to some of the electrics, you need to open the side door and undo the locking screw at the top front LHS of the headstock. 123 forum posts 19 photos | Hi Thanks for the replies David there is a large HEX nut above the oil indicator so I presume that’s the filler cap I’m sure when I got it I topped it up from above as I remember seeing the gears but I’m sure you’re right with the filler cap 👍 thanks |
