eccentric problem

204 forum posts | While recently re assembling a part built chassis (Molly) I could not get the mechanism to turn over. I removed the two bottom eccentrics and the wheels turned and eccentric also worked, but connecting the other two back brings the problem back. Could this be caused by the (slightly wrong )setting of the eccentrics on the driving axle?Leads to a further question, Drawings refer to left hand side , Is the left hand side looking from the back of the loco? Many thanks to anyone offering suggestions or solutions! |

204 forum posts | Hello Neil, No the movement in the valve chest is free, but also opening too far in forward movement, but I thought I could re-adjust this when I solved the eccentric issue! Thank for the response |
