7517 forum posts 20 photos | The Market Deeping Club appears to have made a terrific effort and rebuilt their kit, after the carnage at their exhibition, at the Stamford Academy, by 4 (drunken?) youths. From the BBC, their exhibition is on show today at the NEC at the Warley exhibition. edited to add that I have since seen this posted on the Rod Stewart thread. Still think they deserve a huge amount of credit for their efforts after the earlier incident, so thread not deleted. Edited By not done it yet on 24/11/2019 07:07:59 |

A splendid recovery from such a devastating experience. I shall take time off from stewarding on the Peterborogh S M E stand to go and see them. Howard |

7517 forum posts 20 photos | I might well go along on Sunday even though I’m not a train enthusiast. It is the annual makit lace making, beading and quillting suppliers’ fair at Solihull on the Saturday, so might go there with my wife. I expect she would like to see if there are any T gauge offerings for sale. Looks like it might be an expensive weekend! |
