Hello all .. I'm restoring a murad cadet lathe which is proving to be a challenge..... I'm committed now so will continue... I appreciate the machine is over 70 years old , and spares will be non existent so I'm looking for information or photos, the machine unsurprisingly at some point in its life suffered a mechanical mishap leading to some of the gearing in the saddle being removed, does anybody have any information of the auto feed gearing off the lead screw ... please excuse any errors in terminology, I'm not a machinist I'm an aircraft sheet metalworker.. thanks in advance

Carl, you may be already familiar with this site but just in case you are not **LINK**

In any event this will boot your post to the top and maybe someone with a machine will come along with useful info
