Hello,

I'm looking for half hollow steel balls, or caps. O have a picture of exactly what i need. But cant figure out how to insert it here? It arrived accidentally in a batch from China, and they have no idea where it came from, so can't supply more. Its basically a half steel cap- Imagine a metal hollow ball, cut in half.

I'd like some in various sizes from 10mm to 40mm. They seem spectacularly hard to source. Does anyone here know where to look?

Hi ainslie.

I buy them from FH Brundle. They have them in sizes from 25mm to 900mm so you should be able to find what you want. They are not expensive so fill your boots.

I use them to make wind speed gauges.

Just look for steel half hemispheres.

Best regards Mick

Hi Plasma

Is half a hemisphere a quarter sphere?
