4 forum posts | Hi there from British Columbia Canada I have decided to try a build of the Hemingway Fieldhouse winding engine, I have built several steam models already but have small problem reading flat plan drawings as I have mild dyslexia. Hence I find photos of the engines to be very helpful. To this end if anyone has/is building this engine and could/would supply me with some photos it would be most appreciated. Carson

469 forum posts 50 photos | Hi there Carson; I think I have a couple of pictures of the full size engine in one of my many books on stationary steam engines. If you think they may be of some help, I will do a search for them and send you scans. It may take a couple of days. Let me know if you would like me to go ahead. Regards Maurice |

11 forum posts | Hello Carson, I have built this engine a few years ago and could take some pics if you can be more specific about what you need. I'm on Vancouver Island (Nanoose Bay) and you would be welcome to come and take a look first hand too. |

4 forum posts | Hi Alan, Glad to get your response, bonus that we are so close. I am not sure how this works but is it possible for you to email me off site without me putting my email on the web? Not very knowledgeable with this computer stuff. Thanks...Carson |

In the grey bar under each post are several options if you click "message member" you can then send a message that only they can read. If you have a message the "inbox" icon in the green bar along teh top of all pages will flash and you will also get a flashing envelope just under the ARC Euro Trade advert. Click either to open your message and then reply to exchange contact details. |
