8 forum posts 5 photos | A while ago the wife bought me this part-made loco, I’ve now got the time to do something with it..... however, I’ve no idea of what I’ve got, or where to go to get what I need, any information/ recommendation would be gratefully received. Many thanks.

![]() 1078 forum posts | The firebox shape looks almost like a dean.... I'm assuming thats the firebox at the top anyway! I'm notoriously bad at this game though. It could be a freelance design of some sort. I presume it appears to be an 0-6-0? |

![]() 517 forum posts 57 photos | Just had a look at the articles. The chassis and probably the castings are for Green Arrow but unfortunately the boiler is not. Green Arrow has a wide firebox coal fired boiler whereas yours is a shorter narrow firebox boiler either gas or spirit fired. Possibly meant for something like the Gauge 1 Project? John |

8 forum posts 5 photos | Thanks for the replies, John, I think you may be spot on, I’ve found two packet labels, one refers to the Green arrow, and one to a Gauge 1 project, so it seems I have the chassis and some parts for the Green Arrow, but no boiler, and a chassis, with no wheels and maybe a boiler and some body parts for a Gauge 1 project, Would I be able to get the rest of the parts, boiler etc for the Green Arrrow, if not, do you think these parts would have any value to someone, or are they scrap? Many thanks John

![]() 517 forum posts 57 photos | Hi John, I can't find anyone who sells the drawings for Green Arrow but I can let you have a copy of the articles if that would help? All the drawings are in the articles so you don't really need the full size ones anyway. It looks like you have most of the castings and anything missing could be fabricated. Model Engineers Laser do some parts for Green Arrow including laser cut tender bits. You should be able to get drawings etc. for the Project from the G1 Society. I think they do a booklet for it. The drawings for Martin Evan's "Green Arrow" were in the centre fold of ME’s 4394/5/6 Dec2010 to Feb 2011.
