Where's a good place to get Arduino MEGA 2560 boards and shields without having to buy from China? I'm happy to buy Seeed, DFRobot etc but ideally from somewhere in the UK ie without the cost and time penalty. Places like CPC, RS etc only stock a limited range.

I'm looking to control an ATC, so quite a few (mainly microswitch) digital inputs and outputs (SSRs and some relays). Screw terminal shields and sensible enclosures would be a good idea.

Yes - thanks, they seem to stock a good range of eval board / RPi / Arduino stuff and those "shield" things.

On the subject of Arduinos, eval boards and SBCs, check out Mickmake's Youtube channel and see if your head doesn't swim....

And if you are a radio amateur, how about an Arduino add-on like this.
