Distributing the weight across driving axles
Pete Falla | 21/05/2018 17:07:32 |
4 forum posts | I know that full-size steam locos have their springs adjusted to distribute the weight equally across all driving axles with some weight carried by bogies and trailing axles. Can anyone give me information about how this is achieved in a 5” gauge loco? |

I then did an article in a recent ME on my weighbridge. Sorry I don't have the issue number to hand but no doubt somebody will be on to it pretty quickly. As a result of the article Roger and I have been in touch which has resulted in the link provided by Dave. http://modeleng.proboards.com/thread/12430/measuring-wheel-loading-on-locos Pete Edited By Doubletop on 22/05/2018 10:22:16 |
