3630 forum posts 128 photos | Advert reproduced in the middle of this :- **LINK** page says it can be used for light milling. Later version is definitely better on milling duties as it uses the Schlaublin ESX collets split from both ends rather than the simple one way split types on the earlier versions so the cutter is more firmly held. From a practical viewpoint I'd be most worried about how well the spindle downed lock holds. Whole point of a jig borer it to have a smooth accurate sliding movement on the quill. Locking device to keep a milling cutter at constant depth isn't really what its about. Linley factory was in Bridgeport. Clive Edited By Clive Foster on 21/05/2018 21:40:21 |
