2 forum posts | Hi I have just purchased a old Myford ML7 Lathe am just getting used to it , going ok up to now . I was looking inside the Gear cover at the end and there is a list of gears to choose for what ever TPI etc that you require , now I understand the Gear change , but I am a little puzzled at the end column heading " Lead Screw" , now I know what the lead screw is but I have no idea what the numbers down the column mean ie , 20,45,50,55,60,65,70,75 . Am I missing something here ! .

It starts at beginner level and goes through to more than you will ever want to know and is all based on Myford lathes. Well worth a look. |
