I used to build 7/14 electric, and steam. now im going for a 1/6 scale land vehicle, I would like to know the best RC unit to control the multiple functions on my model.

I have looked at the Futaba16 sz, is there more cost effective device on the market, any advice will help !

Thanks all,

Ray.

Welcome Raymond,

Programmable multi-channel RC is remarkably affordable these days. A unit aimed at marine modellers will probably suit. Perhaps buy a copy of Model Boats and browse the ads.

Futaba 16 sz is a farley high end radio for what you my need. There are loads of options depending on how many channels you require. Have a look at the model flying forum to get some ideas.
