Buying a older Polly

166 forum posts | Next week i am going to have a look at a couple of Polly II with the intention of buying one. Is there anything I should be looking for . Are there any weak points or what is likely to wear and need replacement? |

182 forum posts 1 photos | I purchased a Polly 3 from a dealer in May last year. New hydraulic and steam tests. Ran fine with no horrible noises just a leaking regulator . Taking it apart for a much needed re paint revealed over 1mm play in the coupling rod bushes and some play in the eccentrics. Typical wear points .All easy to fix at no great explense . Don't rely on purchasing new spare parts to replace those that need attention . The prices are !!!!! Brian C |
