Boiler Pressure
Ricky Smith | 15/02/2017 21:12:07 |
1 forum posts | One of our Club Members has almost completed the Fire Engine to the E Westbury design (ME - 1967) but we cannot find any reference to the intended working pressure either in the articles or on the plans. Since the boiler is almost ready for testing it would be most helpful if anybody can advise regarding the working pressure? Many thanks - Ricky Smith

![]() 25215 forum posts 3105 photos 1 articles | There was another series on building the Shand Mason in 2009 and the boiler for that had a working pressure of 3.5bar approx 50psi. Without comparing the two boilers in detail I can't be sure that the later one followed Westbury's design exactly but should give you a good ball park figure.
