2 forum posts	As per my introductory post, I am the Company Secretary of the Robey Trust in Tavistock..... We play with full sized steam engines, trying to keep steam engineering heritage alive... We have a growing historical collection of items that are manufactured by Robey & Co. Ltd of Lincoln... 7 road vehicles (although 2 are under restoration at present), plus around 36 stationary engines. The Trust was founded 33 years ago (not by me... I was born that year!), starting with a Tandem Roller found in the local playground.... It grew from there, the founder researching and acquiring more and more engines... I don't think he ever anticipated it growing in to what it is now.... To say that this is an enjoyable hobby is an understatement.... I absolutely love it... The collection we have is World Class and one of the few in the world that centre around ONE make of manufacture.

6956 forum posts 229 photos	Tavistock is kind of a long way from Lincoln. Which end is the collection or is it distributed? I recall seeing a portable engine, possibly a Robey at a steam museum about 20 years ago, possibly the Dingles museum before it turned into a fairground museum.
