As per my introductory post, I am the Company Secretary of the Robey Trust in Tavistock..... We play with full sized steam engines, trying to keep steam engineering heritage alive... We have a growing historical collection of items that are manufactured by Robey & Co. Ltd of Lincoln... 7 road vehicles (although 2 are under restoration at present), plus around 36 stationary engines.

The Trust was founded 33 years ago (not by me... I was born that year!), starting with a Tandem Roller found in the local playground.... It grew from there, the founder researching and acquiring more and more engines... I don't think he ever anticipated it growing in to what it is now....

To say that this is an enjoyable hobby is an understatement.... I absolutely love it... The collection we have is World Class and one of the few in the world that centre around ONE make of manufacture.

Hello from West Devon.

I'm in Tavistock, and am the Company Secretary of The Robey Trust....

One of my personal projects is building a model of a Robey Tandem Roller.... I shall endeavour to share my current progress etc on a more relevant part of the forum.....
