Does any one know where I can source a worm and wheel for the Minnie traction engine the books says:- 44 DP two start wheel 121/2:1 ratio Bonds Gears Cat No C 139 but any thing in that ball park will do the job.

Cheers

Stew

Do Reeves still do them? that is where I got mine from. If not enquire with Blackgates and GS Models who both do castings

EDIT, still listed on Reeves site here

Take a look at the Blackgates catalogue; they list them as machined parts at a very reasonable price.

Thanks for the info.

Its 95% complete and I'm finishing off for a friend, who said it was short of the worm a wheel, but I've just had a look through a box a bits that came with it and found a set, I guess he didn't know what to look for.

Cheers

Stew
