Hello All,

Is there anybody out there who has built or owns or knows of one of Rex Tingey's 16 mm scale traction engines, which he called Sweet Sixteen. It was serialised in the short lived "Model Mechanics" magazine of 1979 on , and I have been gathering the materials to make one myself....... only forty or so years late. There are several of my pipe dreams waiting for completion, and I'd like to finish at least some before the grim reaper calls.

A search of the database here has brought up nothing, altho' Mr Tingey mentioned in his articles that he had serialised the construction of the cylinder block and components as a stationary engine in a separate feature in ME.

All comments and answers gratefully acknowledged

David
