46 forum posts 13 photos | I am trying to find some plans for a model power press which I want to make.I was in Hastings back in the early 80s and there was a model shop ,and I mean a proper model shop were the proprietor made model gun carriages etc. Also in his collection a selection of working model engineering machines, I was fascinated by the power press at the time. As I now have a small or nano workshop I would really like to make one. As I have not been back to Hastings since the 80s is that model shop still there. |

24 forum posts | Modeltec for February '98 has plans for a back-geared punch press. It's a copy of one from Mechanix Illustrated, October, 1943. Both magazines are available on the well-known auction site. Regards, Bob |

![]() 6137 forum posts 893 photos | 2808 and 3005 have articles, both are flat stampers though. The faster systems angle the entire machine backwards, you place the workpiece in the front, it gets stamped and drops out the back into a bin and the scrap falls away album here |
