A New Scam

1257 forum posts 264 photos	Received an e-mail from Portugal today informing me that my WM250 lathe was for sale on a local auction website. Lo and behold there on CustoJusto.pt were several images of my lathe, lifted from my website, asking 1220 euro for it. Not quite sure if the e-mail I received was from the seller and part of the scam or from a local Portugese model engineer who had visited my website. I have not replied just in case. I assume someone is trying to pocket the cash without having anything to sell, I don't think it will affect me. Yet something else for web users to be aware of. Should you happen to be in Portugal and looking for a lathe, mine is NOT for sale and I think the shipping would cost rather lot! Just thought I would post this for information, if it is happening in Portugal I have no doubt is it happening here very much a case of buyer beware. John
