I am starting to look around at various locos, this will be my 1st build.

The society I belong to do a fair bit of passenger hauling so this will be a factor in my final decision.

I like the look of this loco, it's a good size, should pull a reasonable load. The outside cyclinders and motion will hopefuly make life a little easier.

Any thoughts from the more experienced among us?

John

I did a search for this locomotive and there does not seem to be much information for this other than for the full size loco. Are there castings, drawings and building information available for this locomotive? For a 1st build locomotive, I would recommend a design that is well documented and has castings readily available.

I think this loco was described in Engineering In Miniature. I think it was designed by one of the original owners of MJ Engineering so they might be a start for castings.
