Looking to see if I can rewire to run 240 volt VFD supply

18 forum posts | I am looking at a BCA jig borer, it has a 2 speed 720 / 1440 motor. It is 3 phase but only states 380/420 volts, and 2 power outputs , .37/.5HP. It is a delta wire, and the power switched either apply voltage to the corners of the delta, or, to the middle of the delta triangle. Now I am wondering if its 400 volts only, and a re-motor job. Anyone know? |

An alternative is one of Drives Direct 240v in 440v out inverters. |
