I need to cut a 13tpi thread (1/2 in UNC). This size does not appear on the chart, but 26tpi does. My thoughts are as follows:-

On the other charts A on the 3 position lever is slowest, B is twice as fast as A and C is twice as fast as B.

The setup for 26tpi uses A1, so if I use B1 wil I get 13tpi?

Anyone know the answer?

To cover all bases and be far quicker than wading though conflicting advise would be to do a scratch cut on a lump of bar and measure it with a pitch gauge
