I made the right decision early 82.

Russ perfectly correct and just about sums it up, we cant afford our quality standards and have accepted lesser as the norm. Maybe correct on the Kwacka thing but Triumpth before and after have always had strong ties. Some of the cases are made in same place in Thailand, i'll find the link, good reading. What surprised me is some models are built up in Brum and exported to Thailand where they have two plants.

Dare say if it was wholly British, US or European made they would substantially be dearer. Theres plenty of global conglomerates that operate from Thailand, note in link what I have said all along, big brass employed by UK stand over manufacture!
