I found that the end of the "bendy" was threaded 8x1 mm. I don't have a suitable tap but 5/16" x 26 which I do have is close enough. Married to a magnet from an old hard disk works pretty well in the workshop for a machine light. I'd be confident enough in my masculinity to have a pink one Rod . There's evidently more than one version, Rod ['product improvement' and all that] The one that snapped has its 6mm [ish] gooseneck directly bonded into a plastic boss. MichaelG. |
