543 forum posts 31 photos	Hi Dave, The Arc Screless vice has been great the only criticism I could make is the fact it only has two mounting points (slots) at the ends, I wanted to mount mine at 90 degrees to the table so had to manufacture some "Dogs" to fit in the side holes. It's nice not to have the kind of "compound" errors which can creep in when removing and replacing parts in a "standard" vice, i've not needed to use a deadblow hammer for weeks now! Paul

I know what you mean by the use of the hammer, I am frustrated by my bench vice needing a bang to release it, I suppose if I bought a decent quality (Record?) vice, I wouldn't have to hit it with a hammer to release it so often. 496 forum posts 207 photos	Hello Paul. I have my screwless vice mounted at 90 degrees to the table. Please take a look at the following picture in my album. http://www.model-engineer.co.uk/albums/member_photo.asp?a=8270&p=147670 There is a round spigot entering into the vice to about 15mm.
