1074 forum posts 290 photos | Another thing to do when it's hour-change time is to turn all stopcocks off and on to ensure that they remain operational. It's no joke to find that a stopcock can't be closed when you need to turn the water off for an emergency or plumbing modification. Just turn them off and on twice a year helps to prevent them seizing up. The hour-change is simply a good reminder. |
