![]() 544 forum posts 8 photos | I am running Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) and all 3 start OK for me and do the searches OK, returning data. The only problem I have seen is in the EIM one, if you enter Lilla into the Keyword, you get a error message. (Other Keywords seem to work OK ... a corrupt record perhaps)

![]() 4318 forum posts 291 photos 1 articles | Hi Dias! I'd like to publicly thank you for your hard work. You sent me the links a while ago, but it's only today I tried out the index search. I found it easy to use and it came up with the sort of results that I expected - it was almost as fascinating as reading a copy of ME, going through LBSC and ETW's article history. I found it best to put all four sets of files in one folder (don't copy over duplicated readme and .dll files), then I sent the master program (with the wolf paw icon) to the desktop as a shortcut. Simples! The downside- in order to look up what I found I had to sort over 20 years' worth of MEs back into order. Neil |

![]() 4318 forum posts 291 photos 1 articles | Hello Dias, I've spotted two minor errors in the earlier version - First is that a search with no results gives a database conflict error and threatens corruption. The second is an error with the database, except for Issues 1 and 13 years in the 1890's are muddled. 1898 becomes 1989 and 1899 become 1988 or something like that! This may be an error with Colin Usher's database (seem's odd ifno-one else has noticed it!) or perhaps a copy routine is swapping 9s and 8s? Neil |

![]() 4318 forum posts 291 photos 1 articles | Hi Dias, If you search for the year 1898 you only get articles from Issue 1, volume 1 If you search for the year 1899, you obnly get articles from Issue 13, Volume 2 So I looked at the "unsorted data", which starst with issue 1 page one and follow through the whole series. It appears that all the articles from issues 2 to 12 and 14 to 24 are there in the index, but the years for them a given as 1989 and 1988. I see the CSV versions of the indexes don't include the year; perhaps if you are automatically calculating these something is going wrong?

496 forum posts 207 photos | Hello all, Thanks to the data provided by Mr. Chris Orchard, there's a new version of ME_Indexes. Now the data covers up to the last volume (209).
There's also some new data in the EiM version.
Best regards |
