511 forum posts 6 photos | Me again! I contacted Myford, but they were unable to help as the Wanner Guns are modified by an outside firm and therefore the Wanner drawing is irrelevant. Has anyone dismantled the Myford nozzle and ascertained what components and in what order they are placed within the nozzle and spout. If so I would be grateful to receive this information. Thank you Robert Butler |

511 forum posts 6 photos | Dear Rod thank you, regrettably the oil gun i have is the current metal cased oil gun shown on the Myford website and this is a modified version of the Wanner oil gun. I am grateful for the time you have taken to help. Robert Butler |

158 forum posts 22 photos | My oil gun came from the Nottingham factory with lathe bought in the closing down sale in 2011. It looks identical to the one on the current Myford website. The assembly looks the same as Rod's but note the rubber seal in the nozzle. Andrew |

511 forum posts 6 photos | Thank you Andrew, that is the same oil gun, I have the spring and on further investigation the seal is present in the nozzle. What appears to be missing is the valve or ball bearing attached to the spring. Is it a ball bearing or valve? Can you kindly confirm please. Thank you again Robert |

158 forum posts 22 photos | Hi Robert. The valve attached to the spring is a medium-hard rubber. The large diameter is 5.0mm if you want to scale one from the photo. Andrew
