443 forum posts 1 photos | You're wrong, it's a Clebb resizer, possibly the rare left handed version. The upper projections are handles to exert inward pressure on the sliding portion which opens the Clebb up a size. We used them in the snooker table works for getting each pocket Clebb bang on centre.

But I always heard snicket in Yorkshire for ginnel in Lancashire When I was a lad 1930s /40s you got different words on opposite sides of the road pit workers and mill workers used different words as well but we all understood each other Roy |
