New vice on the way and other collected tomorrow - had hoped they would just say keep it.

There is a number of Soba items about now. Some of my tooling, just odd bits bought ages ago was made in India. Can't fault it. I also noticed a super 7 clone with warco on it on ebay. I have heard that these were rather good when they were about. India again but I believe only one batch was ever imported.

However in another department, microscopes I have heard numerous disaster stories. Rather bad ones too largely down to trying to keep costs down or very poor machining.
