Again without knowing the pressure the Maxitrak one you linked to is designed to cover Its hard to say. Also there is no indication of the size of boiler it is designed for so the steam passages may be too small. And they don't list them with a 3/8 x 32 thread so another reason they could be too small

Hi Jason.

All good fair points, they have told me they would be ok for my scale engine as they do the correct thread size.

However I'm still abit nervous that they would be ok, I'd say ready made is still safer than an home made.,especially if not made them before.

I will have to try and email them a drawing to ask there engineer, they must have an idea if selling steam parts.

They sell the correct size on eBay, so may just not list on there site.

I have emailed them concerning realise pressure etc.
