16/04/2021 11:17:49

Hi Boys and Girls

This is my go to place when all else has failed.

Need to buy the small jumper connections that are used to set the "steps" on the CNC Shield . Can find them with the complete board, but not by themselves.

Thread: z-.006
23/03/2019 18:10:19

Hi All

Cutting Perspex with a very small cutter so needed to do 5 cuts at increasing depths machine is run from GRBL so started of with Z-.006 then added .020 to each run so next run would be at Z-.026,.046,.066,.086, .106 nothing magic there except the bugger would do the-.006 then jump to .086 that broke the tool

So started again Z up off the work same thing kept missing -.126 too -..066

Only way I managed to fix was to replace all the 6 with 5 then worked fine like to know the problem

Cheers

Thread: AC Motor 4 wire
11/02/2018 19:17:00

Thanks for the reply's

Top of my head nice and brown and not smelling that great.

Have had a look at my photos and there are none of the inside of my shed or the seven sockets

plus extension lead.

Not saying that I don't have multi plug sockets but only run one thing at a time.Seemed a good way

to save time ???

So unless Google Earth has taken the time and trouble to "stalk" me and my shed

Must just be MAGIC.

No help with the wiring yet

11/02/2018 14:49:14

Hi to all the "Sparkies"

Have fitted a ZP Mottori Elettrici 1/4 hp motor to my Quorn .

Need the beastie to run forward and reverse.

Has four wires coming out two green and two blue and a capacitor.

Motor runs in both directions but needs to be hand spun to start and the "fun" part is if I touch anything metal in the shed eg steel bench I get a shock

So help please with a wiring diagram

Thanks in advance

Thread: G code
04/05/2017 17:19:21

Saved a lot of hair pulling and lying awake half the night

Thread: Number plate
12/01/2017 16:53:08

Thanks for the reply's

Bit like looking up a word in a dictionary that you cant spell.

The plastic I'm looking for is not the stuff that you can buy in the DIY stores as this just cracks.

So still in the dark.

Thanks to all

.

Find them very easy to work with eg bend drill cut..

But a real bugger to get the reflective bit off

so would like to buy some before it becomes a number plate

Hi to all

Once again in need of help on Mini Mill control board.

Nothing broken this time. Not being very good at electrics. Made note of where all the wires connected from switch. motor, mains and EMI filter.to the control board.

Then managed to lose the note.

Have spent hours looking up a wiring diagram that I could understand but just managed to get older.

HELP any body out there willing to put me out of my misery

Thanks

Thanks to all for the replies.

Yes a new board would sort my problem.

Rather an expensive way. So can this toroidal be bought and where from.

To reply to Mr Rudd no other unrevealed failures

Just an idiot with a 12 mm drill in the lathe trying to make a hole in the new plastic box

SNATCH end of the little beastie
