Thread: Brass Studding |

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I had tried threading the bar myself, but for some reason the threads proved too loose. I managed to track down a supplier that carry this size, BA Bolts. |

Hi Barry Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately this is too small. The project is a carburetor for a Westbury Internal Combustion Engine so it needs to be this size. This is already tapped for this size. Thanks David |

Hi Everyone I am trying to find 3/16 x 40tpi brass studding for a project I'm currently working on. I have tried all the usual places but have had no success yet. I would be very grateful if anyone could tell me where I might get some, I would like 12" of it ideally. Many Thanks David |

Hi Jason,
Many Thanks for your post! I am looking into straight away. The Ransoms is the nicest looking one.

Hi All,
I was wondering if you could help me. I am currently looking for my next project and am trying to locate a set of plans for a 2" scale baler.
I had seen several smaller scale balers built but have yet to come accross a detailed set of plans.
I have recently completed a Live In Caravan, before that was a Ransomes Thrashing Machine and my first model a Burrell Steam Engine all 2" scale.
Any help welcomed !! |
