Thanks to an email from Pocketmags this morning which has done nothing but infuriate me even more Hi Ray,
You need to download the magazines again to the new app, as the old app can no longer be supported due to changes in Microsoft and Google's software. You can still access your issues, but not via the old app.
Please try this and let us know how you get on.
All the best,
Will"
So in essence this heading for this thread should read " All Windows ver" Still no notification yet from Pocketmags officially to announce and give direction of what to do. No i am not that silly they have neglected even on their website until recent changes as pointed out during this thread a Public Announcement. That lack of professionalism has me considering seriously to demand a full refund or ever taking out a subscription again. On top of that as Neil will see in his email in box further in the staff of ME/MEW reply. |

I fixed the editorial chair! Folk may remember the Ed' s bench about the peculiar assembly instructions. The tube which hold the back up sheared off where it was welded to an attachment plate, I linished off the plastic coating and welded a long bit of 3/16" black bar inside the tube and to the plate as a brace before re-welding all around the split. A nice bit of 'farm maintenance' style welding. Now if I was editor of The Woodworker I would have had to spend two months making a reproduction Chippendale Neil Hum this isn't a good sign accounts dept making such cut backs not even editor can afford a new office chair editor has to do running repairs. best way to fix that sort of attitude is stick your repair account in accountants inbox of course 3 times price of new chair. |

Neil you thread for Apple users is indicating this problem is bigger then this thread alone. and is about the date when my problems started. **LINK** This is a completely separate issue to the Pocketmags readers as it applies to the digital archive accessed via this site. Jason not entirely as its been part of the problems I have been having. If you read my post above you'll see I did start a thread when it happened, contacted Neil who responded and the help which I have had 3 automated response from yet to have a human response in regard to any of the issues I've been having. That being one of them. |

I ahve been in communication with MTM colleagues already this morning. Please be assured they are looking into this. One problem is that, as usual, it is not clear exactly what problems people are having. Several people are saying they can't access already downloaded issues, but I am noit sure what triggered the problem? is it because people have updated their reader and lost access, or because they are migrating from oner machine to another? Or something else? Neil Neil in my pm to you, email to them and to ME/MEW's help I have outlined that a WIN10 update was done just days prior but weeks prior an update to the reader was done also. I had accessed and read two ME mags in that period and one MEW. I then tried to go back and re-read one of the articles in an ME mag that is when the read started but died during its boot up. |

So they have updated their website to cover their own butts sounds like a CEO who is ducking for cover maybe its not just ME/ MEW which is taking full aim with the fully loaded artillery at them. |

Neil I am at the moment as you know in the middle of not just this issue but also my subscription stuff up due to changes that were made during due to their software net problems. After taking out my subscription which culminated in loss of Digital MEW and postal of ME all arse about. The trouble with the process has only come to light a month after payment. I am still waiting for someone to contact me on that matter an email sent during last week. |

Jason & Neil thanks but I don't think you understand this at all as subscribers Pockmags has a legal obligation to have informer its subscribers of the changes which it has not done. |
04/06/2017 09:15:49 |
Neil I have just sent them an email. |
04/06/2017 09:00:48 |
I'm having enough hassles with my subscriptions on here without this crap. |

As quoted on This sites instructions and a statement again it is obvious by the comments here no one has been notified of any change by any one in authority as to any changes or directive to how to rectify.!!!!!!! ""Accessing on Multiple Devices Please follow these steps in order to access your Digital Editions on a secondary mobile device:
How do I access my future issues? If you opt in to push notifications you will receive a message when the latest issue is available. When you go into the app you will have the option to download your new issue. Make sure that you do this whilst connected to Wi-Fi! Once your magazine is fully downloaded the button on the homescreen will change to say 'Read' and you can read it wherever you go!" |
