Would it be possible when an entry is moved an annotation detailing the fact is inserted into the thread so we never have an empty thread.

Whist looking through the 'Suggest Online Resources' threads for a suitable thread to post on I was surprised to get this response when I selected it

'Thread

Sorry, but the thread cannot be found.'

On further I found that all threads from the following one

Flywheel (9" Solid Aluminium) Wanted

to the end of the section are all missing.

Having tripped over 2 bad links in looking for the Charlie Dockstader valve gear simulation software I thought that I would put the latest tested link here.

The 2 bad links were on 'Model Engineering Clearing House' (modeleng.org), who have been e-mailed, and Don Ashton not notified as I don't have email address.

The D.H. Comet is a relic from RAF Transport Command, it is a Mark 2. If you look closely you can see it has square windows, similar to the ones that caused the Mark 1 to fall out of the sky as well as favour.

In my opinion the French only messed up the metre by a smidgeon, it should have been slightly smaller so that 1" is 25.6mm then 1.64" would be precisely 0.4mm
 
This would mean that all fraction inc measurements would convert cleanly to metric.

Another pecularity on this site is that on this page I am getting the right hand advert column overwriting part of the posted text which make things dreadfully hard to follow.
