I am building a traction engine with a steel tender and I'm trying to find out the best way of waterproofing the water tank. I'm thinking about some sort of rubberised paint, or maybe fiberglass. The galvanised steel water tank I took out of my loft was in pretty good condition after 50 years, but galvanisation doesn't seem like a practical option. Regards, Den. |
