I do need to make a racket wkeel and goes on 1898 edison gem phonograph that is why it is 1.oo od. The ones I see on ebay and other places are worn out, thay is why I need to make it. I do have a indexing head that I use may be once ever 6 years. But the info you guys have give me has help. |

I work on old phonograps those old things you crank up. And on working on this one I broke a part and need too know if I can silver solder it back. And what do I need for this, I have never silver soldered?. |

I got a grizzly lathe http://www.grizzly.com/products/13-x-40-Gunsmithing-Lathe-with-DRO/G0776, so why is dial .002 per line on the carriage, as I dial in or out. And how do I fix it to read .001 per line. I know it is in the lead screw. But iam not that smart about these stuff.Just need some info on it. Brett |
